iStartup 1.0.1 adds support for landscape mode, revises interface

Bayhoff software has released iStartup 1.0.1 [App Store Link]. The new version adds support for the iPhone's landscape mode. In addition, startup shortcuts are now broken down into sections, making it easier to find what you are looking for.

iStartup is a reference guide for Mac OS X startup shortcuts. iStartup can be particularly handy if your Mac refuses to start up. Without a healthy Mac, obtaining a list of key combinations suddenly becomes much more difficult. And while MobileSafari is great, it is not always an ideal solution for quickly looking up information.

Here are a few screenshots of iStartup. Click on one of the screenshots to see a larger version.

Small bug in ListCalc 1.0 and 1.0.1

ListCalc 1.0.2 has been submitted to the Apple for approval. The new version corrects a small problem where some large numbers would be slightly off. For example, 79768291.24 would become 79768291.23333...

Where is 5Ball?

Although submitted on August 25th, the same day that both iStartup 1.0 and TouchFonts 1.0 were submitted, 5Ball has yet to move beyond the App Store review process. Hopefully it will soon appear on the App Store

Three apps from Bayhoff Software now available on App Store

Bayhoff Software has released three new apps for the iPhone. These three programs are now available on the App Store:

1. iStartup

Have you ever suffered a problem where your Mac would not start up properly? What key combination can you use to eject a DVD at startup? How do you start up in safe mode? iStartup will tell you which key combinations to use.

iStartup can be particularly handy if your Mac refuses to start up. Without a healthy Mac, obtaining a list of key combos suddenly becomes much more difficult. And while MobileSafari is great, it is not always an ideal solution for quickly looking up information.

2. ListCalc

ListCalc is a different kind of calculator. ListCalc displays a list of all of the numbers that you have previously entered, just like paper tape. Add, remove, or modify numbers as needed. Easily find the average and total.

3. TouchFonts

For both font lovers and developers, TouchFonts lists every font that came loaded on your iPhone (or iPod touch). Grouped by font family, view each font using several different character sets.
